Apple One More Thing Event in Under 5 Minutes:
Apple has just wrapped its final event for 2020 with the release of three new Macs with Apple's silicon: The MacBook Pro, The MacBook Air and the MacMini. All the three Macs will ship with the M1 chip which is supposed to consume less power with high performance. It is going to use Unified Memory Architexture which gives high bandwith with low latency. It is a 5nm processor which is just bonkers . It has 16 billion transistors, with a 8 core CPU. The 8 core CPU has been broken down into 4 core High Performance Core and the rest 4 cores for High Efficiency. It will with depending on its usage. It looks like the main goal of the new mac is More performance while using less power, with upto 3x improvement performance per watt. The chip has a 8 core gpu which will use 25,000 threads at a time. It is self claimed as the Worlds Fastest GPU. Now, onto the compatibility of M1 and Intel, there is good news as apps which work with Intel will now work on M1 until the developer updates the app. The one thing which was certain was support of iPhone and iPad apps and now its official.

MACbook air:
The MacBook Air looks similar to its predecessor but it is packing the new M1 chip which Apple claimed it to be "the best notebook." But, the concerning part is that there is not a single fan in the MacBook Air. The battery gets a huge buff with a 50 Watt lithium ion battery and a 30 Watt battery included in the box. This boost increases the playback time upto 18 hrs and the browsing time to upto 15hrs The MacBook Air will be priced at $999 and $899 for the educational version. The Macbook Air will only be available in M1 and not in the Intel variant.

MACBOOK Pro:
The Macbook Pro comes with upto 17 hrs browsing and upto 20 hrs playback. The Macbook has a 58 watt lithium ion battery and a 61 watt usb-c charger incuded in the box (yes!!). The ram, storage and ports are the same as the predecessor. If you own the Pro XDR Display and the Macbook Pro, you now get 6K seamless connection which is astonishing for a MacBook. The MacBook is priced at $1299 and $1199 with the educational discount.

MAC Mini:
Apple's mini desktop welcomes the M1 chip with open hands. The M1 chip gives the MacMini upto 5x better performance.It simultaneously supports up to two displays: One display with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz connected via Thunderbolt and one display with up to 4K resolution at 60Hz connected via HDMI 2.0, thats just amazing for a desktop an eight the size of a windows desktop.

Preorder has started for all the Mac's and shipping starts next week. The final build of BigSur will be releasing on the 12th November 2020. The hype generated for the Mac's by Apple was totally worth it and according to Apple, the silicon will be the revolution that the Mac needed.
